Katwijk Lighthouse

Katwijk Lighthouse Even before 1605, there was already a beacon in Katwijk. A hearth would be lit here at night time as a warning beacon for Katwijk fishermen. The earliest point out of this lighthouse is in ‘De Spiegel der Zeevaart’, an vintage seaman’s e-book from 1592.
