About St. Martin Cathedral

First and foremost, the two chapels were associated, yet a tornado in 1674 caused the crumple of the Cathedral's nave. The St. Martin's Cathedral is arranged beside the Cathedral Tower in Utrecht. Amid the Middle Ages, St. Martin's Cathedral—otherwise called the Dom Church – was the house of God of the Diocese of Utrecht. This was once considered as the biggest church in the Netherlands which is devoted to Saint Martin of Tours.

As far back as 1580, it has been considered as a congregation for Protestants. It is one of the country's two pre-Reformation places of worship. This is the solitary church in the Netherlands that has a close likeness to the style of the great Gothic design. The building has a sole 367 ft tower named Dom Tower, which is a Utrecht trademark.
