About Kyauk Taw Gyi pagoda
The pagoda over Mindhama Hill close is known for its gigantic Buddha picture made out of a solitary bit of white marble. At the base of the stairs to the pagoda ’s passageway are the fierce looking heads of monster Naga, a serpent from Buddhist and Hindu folklore. The snakes' bodies connect on the balustrades.
At the spot of the stairway is a couple of mammoth white and gold Chinthe, lions regularly observed guarding Burmese sanctuaries. A long passageway with multi-layered Pyatthat rooftops prompts the lobby cherishing the marble Buddha picture. En route enthusiasts can purchase blooms to pay respect.
