Dar Jamai Museum

The Dar Jamai Museum is located in the UNESCO World Heritage town centre of Meknes. Not only are the exhibitions kept in the museum, which are considered as masterpieces, but the building is similar. In 1882, the construction of the house of the Jamai family was completed. This fine structure later became an important military hospital in 1912. By 1920, the importance of the building was recognized and it was decided to convert this glorious historical building into the Dar Jamai Museum.
