About Usuki Stone Buddhas

The Usuki Stone Buddhas are statues of different Buddhas etched into a bluff around five kilometers southwest of Usuki's downtown area. In Japan, Buddha statues are normally made of wood or metal. Stone statues are rarer, and Usuki's are the main stone Buddhas in Japan to be assigned as national fortunes. The Stone Buddhas are isolated into four bunches, which are only a short leave one another. It takes around 30 minutes to finish a simple cleared trail that goes by every one of them.

A five moment stroll over the field from the stone Buddhas is Mangatsuji Temple, a straightforward sanctuary in the peaceful neighborhood. A couple of stone etched Nio watchmen remain before the sanctuary with fascinating looks on their countenances. There are additionally a couple of other stone figures on the sanctuary's grounds, including one of the Buddhist minister that as per legend made the stone Buddhas.
