About Momijidani Park

Momijidani Park Is a recreation center extending along Momijidani waterway close to the valley at the foot of Mount Misen. It was developed amid the Edo time frame when maple saplings trees were planted.

In the Momijidani Park, there is Cherry blooms in spring, new green leaves in late-spring and harvest time tints in fall and also the difference in seasons is the fascination.

It is one of the 'Eight Most Beautiful Views' in Itsukushima, 'Yatsugaharabiroku' signifying 'Yatsugahara' is in the east of Momijidani Park.The best part being the different shades in harvest time made by 200 maple trees.
