About Bannaji
Bannaji Temple is the most famous Buddhist temple in Ashikaga City, Tochigi prefecture, situated in the downtown area. It is recognized by being encompassed by a channel and divider, and for having a colossal six-exceptionally old gingko tree. Bannaji is personally connected with the ascent of the Ashikaga family that ruled Japan amid the Muromachi time of Japanese history, in the 12th and 13th centuries.
