About Crema
Crema is a city and comune within the province of Cremona, inside the region of Lombardy in northern Italy. It is built alongside the river Serio at 43 kilometers from Cremona. It is also the seat of the Catholic Bishop of Crema, who gave the title of city to Crema. Crema's predominant monetary sports traditionally because the 11th century related to agriculture, cattle breeding and making wool, but its manufactures in later centuries include cheese, iron merchandise and cotton and wool textiles.
Crema's origins were linked to the Lombard invasion of the 6th century CE, the call allegedly deriving from the Lombard term Krem which means little hill, although this is doubtful since it does not lie drastically above the encompassing nation-state. Other linguistic roots may additionally endorse an older foundation, especially the Indo European root which means a boundary. Other governments hint its basis again to the 4th century CE, when Milan became capital of the Western Roman Empire. According to another model, it became as an alternative an even greater historical Celtic or Etruscan settlement.
