About Rameh
Rameh is an Arab town in the Northern District of Israel. Located east of Nahef and Karmiel, in 2017 it had a populace of 7,580. Edward Robinson identifies Rameh with the historical Ramah of Asher, citing its vicinity and ancient sarcophagi determined on a hill out of doors the village as proof. The village is situated on an historical web page, atop a hill at the brink of Beit HaKerem Valley. To the east are remains of Roman baths, dating to the 2nd to 4th century, and oil presses from the equal length.
