Wargal Saraswati Temple

The Saraswati Temple arranged on a hillock at Wargal town in Medak District of Telangana is the most acclaimed Saraswati sanctuary in the state after Basara. The Wargal Temple is devoted to Goddess Saraswati Devi. The garbhagriha is situated at a level almost proportional to the third floor. The Goddess supposedly is in full transcendence enhanced with a great deal of gems and wreaths and embellished in a saree. There is a symbol of Goddess around 10 feet high before the sanctuary, which is a brilliant bit of workmanship. This sanctuary is well known for Aksharaabyasa for kids. It is one of the well known journey destinations around Medak and Hyderabad.
