About Tijara
Tijara is a city and a municipality in Alwar district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Tiara comes under the NCR area and situated 48 km to the northeast of Alwar. The closest railroad station to Tijara is Khairthal. Bhiwadi is an enumeration town in Tijara Tehsil. Additionally Tijara is the greatest mechanical region of Rajasthan and part of the recorded Mewat district. Tijara is overwhelmed by Meo Muslim people group and other a few Hindu people group. The name Tijara was gotten from "Raja Tejpal" descendent of Anangpal Tomar. The Tomars are the desecendent of Raja Tejpal.
The say of Tijara is found in the book, "Mirat ul Masaud", which relates how Saiyad Ibrahim Mashhadi Barah Hazari, educator of Ghazi Saiyyad Salar Masud and an officer of Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni, in A.H. 420 assaulted Dhundgarh close Rewari, the Raja of which fled to his brother Rao Tej Pal Ahir of Rewari. The last mentioned, in a night assault, slaughtered Saiyad Ibrahim, yet his pupil Ghazi Saiyyad Salar Masud constrained Tej Pal to escape to Tijara, where, in a fight, three relatives of Salar were executed. The tombs of a few partners of Syed Mohammad Dost, Rukn Alam Shaheed, Roshan Shaheed and Bhakan Shaheed in and around the town of Tijara are currently places of journey.
