The Tagore Hill is located in Ranchi, in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Situated at an altitude of 200 feet, this is a beautiful location overlooking the Chota Nagpur Plateau. The place offers the much needed quiet and peace, away from the city cacophonies. The Hill has been named after the famous poet and Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It is said that the poet frequented the hill in order to write and be by himself in solitude. The place is known to have inspired his creativity. Also known as Moradabad Hill, it is a popular tourist attraction in Jharkhand.
