About Dimna Lake
The pure, untouched water of the lake provides a beautiful landscape, complemented by the Dalma mountain ranges as well as the forests and open spaces that are reflected in the water as well, perfect for natural photography. There are small islands present within the lake that serve as habitats for several birds and small animals. Several native migratory birds can be seen at different times during the year, during feeding or mating periods of migration.
There are on ground boating and water sports opportunities, food stalls, bathroom facilities and a resting lodge as well (lodge requires prior reservation). The peaceful and tranquil atmosphere has a calming effect, which remains unaffected by modern industrialization and overcrowding. Despite being a hot spot for a mini holiday, there aren't too many people there at once, allowing for a quiet, fun time for visitors to enjoy.
