About Table land

One of the famous destination located in the area of Panchgani. It is believed to be the Asia’s second longest mountain plateau. Elevated of about one thousand and three hundred eighty-seven meter above sea level, is the highest point of the area. The spot gave a view of six table lands inter-connected to each other give the view of the valley from every spot and angle.

The major attraction of the place is the footprint of the pandavas which highly excite the tourist across. The place is of an isolated musty land area where one can view the extensive land area of the place. Activities like horse riding, merry go round for the kids, camel rides food stalls and a couple of games counters etc. enjoy and keep busy the mind of the viewer. The place also offers an aerial view of the Rajpuri Caves and Devil’s Kitchen. One enjoys the view of the majestic sunset of a panoramic view.

The place is also a good site for shootings, many movie shot like in Tare Zameen Par, Raja Hindustan etc. were shot here. Early winters are a good season to visit Table Land.
