SUBMARINE MUSEUM

At a separation of 6 km from Vizag Railway Station, the Submarine Museum arranged on RK Beach is a Russian assembled submarine of the Indian Navy INS Kurusura swung to an exhibition hall in 2001. Submarine Museum is one of the prime attractions of Vizag city.

The Submarine Museum is the main submarine tuned to a gallery in the entire of Asia and second in the World. INS Kurusura Submarine is a Soviet fabricated I-641 class Submarine drafted into the Indian Navy on 18, December 1969 and the same was decommissioned on 28, February 2001 following 31 years of radiant support of the country.

The Submarine was conveyed from the ocean to the sands of the Ramakrishna Beach and situated on solid establishment to set up as a historical center. It has been set up with the expect to make mindfulness among general society to know how the submarines function amid wartime and for displaying the life inside the submarine, and so on.
