About St James Church
St.James church is a standout amongst the most vital places of worship in our Thoothukudi-Nazareth Diocese. By the Grace and Goodness of our ruler Almighty. Our congregation has great change since 1933.
As we Tooveypuram Youth Fellowship TYF likewise take an exceptional part in our congregation, St. James Church is another little, yet wonderful, church in Tuticorin. Worked amid the pilgrim manage, the congregation has survived every one of these years is still in extraordinary condition.
St.James church is the head quarters of the Tooveypuram pastorate. The congregation was a branch of St.Peter's Church, Shanmugapuram till 1970. After this, the congregation isolated itself from the roots and shaped another pastorate with five sub-houses of worship to be specific,
