About Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple - Keezha Thirupathi
The managing divinity Sri Varadaraja Perumal remains in the middle with Sridevi to one side and Bhudevi to one side in the sanctum sanctorum. Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple is an antiquated temple arranged on the banks of the Thamirabarani River in Keezha Tiruvenkatanathapuram or Keezha Tirupathi. The master was set in this area by Saint Brighu. He has 'chakra and dhana rekha' in his correct hands and 'sankhu and kadayutham' in his lefts hands.
This is trailed by Maha mandapam, Artha mandapam and Garbhagriha. The Kubera vassal, the primary passage of the temple is built on the northern side of the place of worship. There are likewise altars for Garuda and Anjaneya in this temple. The primary tree otherwise called sthala vriksham of the sanctuary is a bamboo tree. The name later changed to Sangani.
