The Kampaheswarar Temple is a Hindu sanctuary devoted to the god Shiva. It is arranged in the town of Thirubuvanam on the Mayiladuthurai-Kumbakonam Street. Shiva is adored as "Kampaheswarar" as he evacuated the trembling of a ruler who was being spooky by a Brahmarakshasa. Master Shiva in the sanctuary is a swayambumurthy. Sri Kampaheswarar Temple or Sarabeswarar Temple has situated at Thirubuvanam town of Kumbakonam taluk, Thanjavur region. The fundamental God of this sanctuary is Lord Shiva has known as Kampaheswarar and Goddess Parvathi. The Chola King Kulothunga Chola had assembled this sanctuary for his triumph of North Indian fight. In this sanctuary, there is a different Sannithi for Sarabeswarar. Master Sabeswara in his 7 feet tall lofty stance graces from a different holy place. The Sarabeswarar is the blend of man, hawk and lion.
