About Shrivardhan Fort

The fort is located in Rajmachi village, which lies in the Sahyadri Mountain ranges, this fort has an elevation of about nine hundred meter and was once used as a watchtower for the Sahyadri region. It is close to the Manoranjan Fort constructed in the Maratha style. Perhaps the fort is one of the two hill fort that constitute the Rajmachi fortification, the other being the Manoranjan Fort. Located at a distance of 8.5 km from Lonavalain, the Sahyadris mountain range.

One can see the amazing techniques that were used by old timers in construction and using natural resources to their benefit. There are two water tanks at the top of the hill where one of them has an iron pillar. The fort is constructed in typical Maratha style. Many trek on the monsoons to reach this amazing fort. A good place to hang out with friends.
