Rudranath is situated at a 2286 mts in Rudraprayag District of Uttarakhand. Rudranath is the hardest Panch Kedar sanctuary to reach. It is the third sanctuary to be gone by in the Panch Kedar journey circuit, containing five Shiva sanctuaries in the Garhwal locale.
It is the hardest trek to reach when contrasted with other Panch Kedar dham of Lord Shiva. There are ious hallowed water tanks close to the sanctuary. These incorporate Surya-kund, Chandra-kund, Tara-kund, Mana-Kund and so on. Nanda Devi, Trishul and Nanda Ghunti are the acclaimed mountain crests, which give the setting to the sanctuary.
The Vaitharini stream or Baitarani or Rudraganga streams close to the sanctuary, which has a dark stone icon of Rudranath. The Mandir Committee has a guesthouse where lovers can spend the night.
