About Nal Sarovar Bird sanctuary
Nal Sarovar Bird sanctuary has a beautiful Lake and marshes of significant ambience. It is situated 64 km to the west of Ahmedabad near Sanand Village. It is home to many migratory birds in winter and spring and is the largest wetland bird sanctuary in Gujarat, also one of the largest in India.
The lake attracts hundreds of species of birds in winters and is home to variety of plants and animals. Wild ass and black buck are also found. One can do bird watching and boating in the lake. Nature lovers can enjoy the sunrise near the lake.
