Naina-Malai

Naina malai Varadharaja Swamy Temple is a standout amongst the most antiquated sanctuaries in Tamilnadu. As indicated by Hindu folklore, it has been there for some yugas and rishis had done tapas there. Naina maharishi had done tapas here and consequently it is called as Nainachalam. This temple is called as "Thirupathi of Salem".During the period of Puratasi lakhs of enthusiasts go to the sanctuary on Saturdays. The temple is arranged at a slope top. The slope best can be come to by climbing 3500 stages. Thala Virucham of this temple is nali tree.

A Road has been laid to the temple top from the foot of the slopes. Here Thirumanjana deepam is exceptionally celebrated and is noticeable to the adjacent encompassing towns and town. It is situated at a separation of 10 miles north-east of Namakkal, which is said to have been worked by Poligar Ramachandra Nayaka.
