Mirtola, otherwise called 'Uttar Vrindavan' is a town 10 km. far from Almora, in Uttarakhand state in India, most known for an ashram by a similar name, set up by Sri Yashoda Maa, a housewife handed plain over the 1930, alongside her pupil Sri Krishna Prem 1898– 1965, a spiritualist of the twentieth Century. The ashram was later keep running by his supporter, Sri Madhava Ashish 1920– 1997, another Englishman, who likewise later settled in India. Visitors can come and visit this place with their friends and family members. This is one of the most well-known ashram in the city.
