About Manek Chowk

Manek Chowk is a notable square in Old Ahmedabad, India. It is surrounded via historical systems. It is a vegetable marketplace within the morning, a bullion marketplace within the midday and the road grocery store at night time. This bustling open square close to the center of the town functions as a vegetable marketplace inside the morning and a jewelry market within the afternoon, the second one largest in India, at an apparently three million rupees of annual turnover.

It is most famous, however, for its meals stalls that start to emerge around 9:30 inside the nighttime and continue until late night time, with numerous neighborhood street snacks. Manek chowk is satisfactory known for its Kulfi. Manek Chowk is one of the few of the meals-road which is allowed to live open till late night time. You can grab bhajipau, dosa, traditional local sandwiches, and plenty of more neighborhood cuisines. Women aren't allowed to enter, and guys need to put on something to cover their heads earlier than coming into. There also are a few minister’s tombs laid out throughout the road. It lies to the west of Manek Chowk.
