About Mahakal Caves
The Mahakal Caves are a popular tourist attraction, located in the village of Jayanti in West Bengal. It is a popular pilgrimage site. Situated close to the Bhutan border, the caves house a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The trek to the cave is popular for bird watching. The forests of Jayanti set against the magnificent Himalayan Mountains make for beautiful trekking trails.
