The adventurous trail from Subrahmanya to Kumarparvata is a popular trekking route. However it is a pretty tough trek and not suitable for beginners. The Kumar Parvata is home to lush green vegetation and reveals the Pushpagiri range of the western ghats. The height of the peak is 1712 metres and it is the sixth highest peak in Karnataka.
The best time to trek is October to January and June to September. While trekking on this route, scenic landscapes come in the way.
The trek unfurls beautiful views all along the way. One can explore the waterfalls for some time after days of trekking. One can stop and stare at the lights of the town of Coorg.
