Koilighugar Waterfall is in Jharsuguda locale. From Gobindpur Chowk in National Highway 200, which is amongst Jharsuguda and Raigarh, take a correct turn. A 3.7 mi drive from that point through thick and mahua woodlands will take one to Koilighugar Waterfall. The Koilighugar Waterfall, around 61 m in stature, is in the Lakhanpur, close to the town Kushmelbahal. The waterfall is in a current named Ahiraj which begins from the 'Chhuikhanch' woods. After the waterfall, the current streams westwards to converge into the Mahanadi waterway. It is a beautiful wonder spot with its sylvan background. Inside the fall there is a Shivalingam known as Maheswarnath. The lingam is submerged in water and isn't normally noticeable. For the advantage of the explorers, another Shivalingam has been made outside the waterfall.
