Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary is the ideal goal for those looking to appreciate a piece of the wild of north-east India. It is situated at a separation of around 170 km from Aizawl in Mizoram. This huge haven is secured with rich green slopes and precipices and has an aggregate region of 35 sq km and ranges up to 1300 m in elevation. Khawnglung Wildlife Sanctuary is home to an immense number of types of wild creatures. A portion of the basic ones to be spotted are serow, yapping deer, wild hog, gibbon, samba deer, hoolock and panther. It is one of the best place in this city.
