Ngengpui Wildlife Sanctuary

Ngengpui Wildlife Sanctuary is an essential natural life asylum in Mizoram. It is situated close to the Indo-Myanmar and Indo-Bangladesh fringe. Covering a region of 110 sq km, the haven is under the supervision of Range Officer with home office Ngengpui and 5 Beat Officers under the control of DFO Chhimtuipui Forest Division. There are seven towns in close region of the haven. The sub-tropical evergreen/semi-evergreen woodlands of the asylum are a characteristic home to a wide assortment of natural life. Here you will get an opportunity to see some extraordinary plant species. Bamboo is the most unmistakable greenery in the asylum.The fauna in the haven comprises of tiger, obfuscated panther, elephant, gaur, yapping deer, sambar, wild pig, hoolock gibbon, rhesus macaque, leaf monkey, regular langur and substantially more.
