Kharsali likewise houses the most established Shani Dev Temple of India. The symbol of Goddess Yamuna is kept at the Shani Dev Temple amid the winter season. The sanctuary is a three-storied structure made up of stones, wood and mortar. The sanctuary has withstood a few seismic tremors and other common disasters since ages. It is trusted that the sanctuary was worked by the Pandavas. The Bronze icon of Lord Shani Dev is kept here alongside the Chaaya, the Sangya and Nag Devta. There are two Urns are kept and nobody touches them due to any unexpected risk to self or family. There is a conviction that these Urns change their position themselves on Purnima and Amawasya.
