About Kere Basadi

Kere Basadi is situated in the Udupi city of Karnataka and also it is a lovely Jain Temple situated in center of a lake, at a separation of 34 Kms from Udupi, 72 Kms from Mangalore and 22 Kms from Karkala. The temple is situated in lovely environment. Thereare many other jain temples in this city and this jain temple is one of the well known temple.

The temple has four symbols in four ways confronting North, South, East and West. The symbols of 4 Tirthankaras are Bhagwan Parsvanatha, Bhagwan Neminath, Bhagwan Ananthanath and Bhagavan Shantinath.The Kalla Basadi situated while in transit to Kere Basadi is an old stone landmark and a value going to put.
