About Kalupur Swaminarayan Mandir

This temple is the principal temple of the Swaminarayan faction to have been constructed. The temple is cut in Burmese teak, and each curve and section is painted with splendid hues, a characterizing normal for Swaminarayan temple all around. There are a few icons introduced by Swaminarayan himself, and also a show of some of his own things and models.

In the abutting haveli, there are quarters for travelers of the organization, a unique segment for ladies, and a region where services and showing sessions are held for ladies as it were. It is situated close Kalupur in the eastern piece of the old city, the Swaminarayan Temple is a sprinkle of shading amidst the city's dim and is additionally the beginning stage for the Heritage Walk through the pols of the old city.
