Gwaldam

Gwaldam known as "valey of flowers" is a beautiful hill station in Uttarkhand. It is located at an altitude of 1629 Mt and 40 km from Kausani. Gwaldam is a place full of forest and small lakes providing a setting for peaceful retreat. The charming view of beautiful hills covered by the pine tress, terraced farms on the hill slopes and small houses scattered all around is like a little heaven in the woods. Gwaldam is the ultimate destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.In Gwaldam, Buddhist Khamba Temple was established by Buddhist in 1953.The Baudh Math here is worth a visit. The temple structure and stone carved statues makes it a must visit site.

Angora Farm was established in 1987 is the farm which has 5 shillas or home for goats.

Macchi Tal is fish breeding centre established by British Empire in 1928 for fishing. Later it became a production farm. Mirror crops and ieties of rainbow golden fish are found here which attracts many tourists. Here source of water is good for bathing and it is an excellent picnic spot for families and children.
