Mysore Dasara is the state celebration of Karnataka and is composed each year in Mysore. Mysore is notable for the merriments that happen amid the time of Dasara. Various social occasions and capacities are sorted out amid ten days of Dasara festivities. On the tenth day, known as Vijayadashami, this year on 30 sept 2017the conventional Dasara parade is hung in the city of Mysore.
A picture of the Goddess Chamundeshwari is put on a brilliant howdah on the back of a beautified elephant and gone up against a parade, joined by tableaux, move gatherings, music groups, embellished elephants, stallions and camels. The five kilometers in length parade begins from Mysore Palace and comes full circle at a place called Bannimantapa, where the Banni tree is adored. The terrific and celebrated elephant parade is privately known as Jumbo Sai.
