What can be better than getting to see a wildlife sanctuary which has over 400 tropical bird species? Apart from the birds the sanctuary also is home to more than 100 varieties of butterflies, Bengal tiger, red panda, Asian elephants, capped langur and Asiatic black bear. This sanctuary is at a distance of 50 km from Bomdila.
The name of the place came from the Red Eagle division of the Army of India and they had their base here in the year of 1950s. This full-fledged forest has many waterfalls and streams inside making this place a delightful place to be.
