At a separation of 9 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, Dona Paula Beach has an exceptionally sentimental legend joined to it. It is trusted that Dona Paula De Menzes, little girl of an emissary, diverted herself from the bluff when she was not permitted to wed a nearby angler whom she cherished. It is said that she is still observed rising up out of the moonlit waves wearing just a pearl neckband.
This charming rough vacation destination lies at the spot where the Mandovi and the Zuari waterways meet the Arabian Sea. This is a spot to sunbathe and unwind. Toward the finish of the narrows there is a wonderful islet-hillock. From the highest point of this hillock one can have perspectives of the Marmugao Harbor and the Arabian Sea up to the Zuari Bridge toward the east.
