About Dalma Sanctuary

This wildlife sanctuary covers a wide area of about 195 sq. km. Dalma sanctuary is home to barking deers, leopards and various other animals. It is an ideal destination for trekking due to its location on steep slopes.
There is also a Lord Shiva temple in the sanctuary, which is visited by devotees during Shivaratri. This wildlife sanctuary has Tata Steel and Forest Department guesthouses for accommodating travellers. The best time to visit this wildlife sanctuary is between October and June.
