Border Hiking

Protected oriented hiking which is popularly known as the Border Hiking is a program which is conducted by the Periyar tiger reserve. Starting at 8 am sharp in the morning, This trek will take your entire day till evening, so plan your trek accordingly.

On the way, you will be able to see many different types of flora and fauna of Periyar Tiger Reserve. This trek covers altitude which ranges from 900 meters to 1300 meters.The view which this hiking offers is just amazing. Wildlife such as sloth can be easily spotted (They Are Lazy!). you need to find other animals though. The elephant is a prominent animal in here. Apart from animals, one can even find a wide variety of birds and butterflies.
