Arulmigu Uthamar Kovil

This place is located in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu and this place is known as Pichandarkovil . As Lord Vishnu remained here as Kadhamba tree, it is otherwise called Kadhambanur-Karambanur. A couple should live in solidarity seeing each other, an existence depicted Uthamba significance best, consequently, the place is otherwise called Uthamarkoil.

As all the three Lords elegance here with their separate consorts, Tirumangai Azhwar had commended this sanctuary in His Mangalasasanam as Uthamar koil. It is trusted that families will flourish with petitions in this sanctuary. The place is referred to as Pichandarkovil as Lord Shiva was calmed of His doshas here.
