Lo Pan Temple

The Lo Pan Temple is the main sanctuary in Hong Kong which is devoted to Lo Pan, the main holy person of Chinese manufacturers and woodworkers. Lo Pan was a Chinese woodworker, engineer, logician, designer, military mastermind and statesman who lived amid the time of Spring and Autumn. Lo Pan Temple having two-corridor structure which is luxuriously enriched with wall painting canvases.

This sanctuary is based in Kennedy Town. It has been named a Grade I historic building. Lo Pan was idolized as a divine being, and is the patron saint of Chinese manufacturers and contractors. Lo Pan Temple in Hong Kong pays tribute exclusively to Lo Pan.

The Temple is a two-corridor structure, with a bizarre barbed rooftop, expound "fire" type parapet walls, mud sculptural figures, eases and artistic creations inside and outside the Temple. It is the Chinese sanctuary with the biggest number of wall sketches on Hong Kong Island.
