About Schramberg
Schramberg is a city in the Black Forest, about 25 kilometers north of Villingen Schwenningen and 47 kilometers northeast of Freiburg im Breisgau. It is after the about 25 kilometers southeast located county town of Rottweil, the second one biggest metropolis inside the district Rottweil and forms a center for the encircling communities. Since 1 January 1972 Schramberg is a massive district metropolis. Schramberg turned into first mentioned in 1293 as Schrammenberg.
As a development site of Schiltach the vicinity quickly belonged to the Lords of Teck and become passed on by those to the Lords of Schilteck.
