About Oberhaching
Oberhaching is a municipality in Bavaria, Germany, with 13,100 inhabitants on an area of 26.6 km². It is positioned some 15 km south of Munich city centre and looks returned at a 1,250 year history. The maximum critical buildings are the initially Romanesque church St. Stephan inside the centre of Oberhaching, the Gothic church Mariae Geburt in Oberbiberg, the Baroque church Holy Cross in Kreuzpullach and the Renaissance Wittelsbach mansion in Laufzorn.
The small palace changed into constructed by Albert VI, Duke of Bavaria and later served as a house for his nephew Maximilian Philipp Hieronymus, Duke of Bavaria-Leuchtenberg. Oberhaching has its own dual carriageway exit on the A 995, which connects the toll road junction Munich-South with the Munich district of Obergiesing and the Mittlerer Ring. The M11 connects Oberhaching with Grunwald, placed 4 km away. In addition, Oberhaching is connected through the Lanzenhaarer Strabe with the Bundesstrabe thirteen, which is almost 350 km lengthy and leads from Wurzburg through Ingolstadt and Munich to the shore of the Sylvensteinsee.
