Stein is a city within the district of Furth, in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated 7 km south of Furth, and 7 km southwest of Nuremberg. Stein has first been noted in a report relationship back to 1296. The foundation of the settlement is connected to the primary Rednitzbrucke, a bridge which first crossed the river Rednitz. It was called Steinbruke and likely triggered the town's naming. In 1498, the two well-known sculptors Veit Stoss and Adam Kraft have been appointed as counselors for production works on the bridge. Between the 15th and the seventeenth century, Stein become absolutely destroyed 3 instances.
After the 2 Margrave Wars, which occurred between 1449 and 1552, the metropolis turned into left burned to ashes. In the summer time of 1632, King Gustav Adolf of Sweden confronted Albrecht von Wallenstein close to Zirndorf inside the Battle of the Alte Veste, which changed into part of the Thirty Years' War.
