Hotel d Assezat

The Hôtel d'Assézat, simply off of the Rue de Metz, is a fine illustrative of the beautiful hôtels particuliers, or private manors, of Toulouse.This noteworthy craftsmanship exhibition hall is housed in the Hôtel d'Assézat, a rich sixteenth century chateau on the Rue de Mez somewhat path east of the Pont-Neuf.

The Hôtel d'Assézat is one of the city's finest burghers' homes worked for the Capitoul Pierre d'Assézat, who influenced his fortune from delivering plant to color a critical industry at the time. The house has a lovely patio with luxurious sculptural points of interest and a charming arcaded loggia.

The Hôtel d'Assézat has been restored and now houses the Fondation Bemberg, a private exhibition with a splendid aggregation of pieces, bronze figures, and questions of craftsmanship. The grouping of artistic creations incorporates numerous works from the Renaissance and present day French School. A bit of the workmanship objects backpedal to the seventeenth century.
