Castle of Ventadour

The Castle of Ventadour is in the cooperative of Moustier-Ventadour in the branch of Correze. The stronghold was worked in the 11th century, and most likely modified amid a few times of development and modifying stretching out from the 12th to the 15th century. It controlled the viscounty of Ventadour, whose political focuses were Egletons and Ussel. Ventadour turned into a district in 1350 under Philippe de Valois, and a Duchy-Peerage in 1578.
