About Punjabi International Film Festival

Punjabi International Film Academy Awards festivity in Toronto amid the primary few days of August, Punjabi films have influenced their blemish on worldwide to outline. The stars of Punjabi Film industry were in Toronto to commend the main Punjabi International Film Academy Awards. Dharemendra was named the brand envoy of PIFAA. Alongside him, right around fifty glitterati of Punjabi Film industry from India remained for over a weeks time to exhibit a genuine taste of Punjabi music, movies and culture to Canadians. 

To give some examples, they were veteran performing artists Om Puri and Rama Vij, Sonu Sood, Divya Dutta, Jimmy Shergill, Neeru Bajwa, Surveen Chawla, Jonita Doda, Binu Dhillon, Daljit Dosanjh, Gippy Grewal, Kamal Khan, Jaidev Kumar, Navniat Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Arya Babbar, Kapil Sharma, Mandeep Kumar and Trilok Malik. A sum of nineteen honors were given including 'Life Time Achievement Award' for Punjabi film legend Dara Singh and 'Open Choice Award for Best Film'. Jihne Mera Dil Luteya was a major victor packing six honors including Best Film Public decision and Best Director Mandeep Singh, Best performing artist male Daljit Dosanjh/Gippy Grewal and Best on-screen character female Neeru Bajwa,best Screenplay/best exchange. It is one of the best famous event.
