About Maliputo Festival

Maliputo Festival was propelled in 1997 during the principal term of office of Mayor Epifanio "Peping" Sandoval. Celebrated every 9th of August, the establishment day of San Nicolas, the occasion records run of the mill celebration exercises, for example, road moving yet its feature is the cook fest that exhibits different maliputo dishes. Normal methods for cooking maliputo is sinigang with tart kind of tamarind and a few vegetables, inihaw flame broiled, or browned nearby bagoong with calamansi.
