About Royal Danish Arsenal Museum

Enter a brilliant universe of guns, hand weapons, protection, regalia and deadly swords in King Christian IV's strong Renaissance arms stockpile from 1604. Since 1928 the high ceilinged rooms of The Royal Danish Arsenal Museum have housed presentations on the innovation of war.
Go out for a stroll through the distinctive displays on war and weapons, and see apparatuses of war going from samurai swords to a German V-1 flying bomb from World War II. The exhibition hall building was initially the weapons store of Christian IV and a foundation of his fantasy of making an invigorated Danish maritime port and armada.
