Visit the Hemis Monastery – The richest and the largest monastery in Ladakh, on the same route, way back to Leh, we’ll visit Thiksey Monastery which belongs to red hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and Shey Palace - summer palace of the kings of Ladakh called Singey Namgyal. Facing Shey across the river Indus lies the Stok Palace Museum. A visit to the museum will be followed by a drive back to Leh. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

On this day we’ll be driving towards the world’s highest motorable road called Khardongla which is 5600 mts. (11,500 ft.) above sea level. Khardongla pass is the gateway to the Nubra valley which host the world famous and highest battle field “Siachen Glacier”. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

The main attraction of this circuit is the Pangong Lake, situated at an altitude of 14,000 ft (4,267m). It is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly 6 to 7 kms at its widest point, and over 130 kms long, and bisected by the international border between India and China. One fourth portion of this lake is in India and rest in China. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.
