About Dinghui Temple
Dinghui Temple was worked in 591 AD during the Sui tradition. As indicated by the Xugao Sengzhuan, composed by a priest called Daoxuan amid the Tang line, the Emperor Yang of Sui held a gathering including a large number of priests in Yangzhou. Amid the gathering the organizer of Tiantai Buddhism gone by and chose to manufacture a sanctuary in Rugao. He dismantled numerous houses adjacent and manufactured the sanctuary. A going with pagoda was worked in the meantime.
Dinghui Temple was truly harmed because of a progression of wars amid the Song tradition. At the season of the rule of the Jiajing Emperor amid the Ming Dynasty, the Yangzhou government gave 46,410 taels to the city of Rugao keeping in mind the end goal to repair the whole city since they were the casualties of regular assaults by wokou. At that point, a large portion of its legacy was demolished and its Buddha statues were intensely harmed. Be that as it may, by the Rugao Government's endeavors, Dinghui Temple was reestablished to its unique and numerous visitors presently visit the sanctuary consistently.
Dinghui Temple covers a region of 16 mu and the entire design displays a shape like the Chinese character "?". House holy places are external ring and sanctuaries are inside. The entryway of the sanctuary faces north, which is uncommon in China. Daxiong Palace and Scripture Library are both at south-bound north. Presently, a waterway encompasses the sanctuary and makes the sanctuary more lovely.
